CORPORATE INFORMATION:

Proguard Technologies (M) Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1993 as Trading company dealing industrial safety footwear. The following year spurred by strong demand for safety products in line with the country's industrial growth, Proguard broadened its product range to include safety waterproof, footwear, safety helmets, face shields, protective eyewear and ear protection devices.

Further encouraged by the country's buoyant economy and robust growth especially in the manufacturing, construction & infrastructure sectors, Proguard ventured into the production of industrial safety equipment in 1997. Today, in the Malaysia construction industry alone, there are 40,000 construction companies handling businesses worth more than RM 10 billion a year.

Contract manufacture welcome
Proguard initially contract manufactured safety helmets under the principle brand in 1997. Although the company still contract manufactures for others, it has also, since 2000, become an original brand manufacturer and launched its first-in-house designed safety helmets.

Later, the company expanded its own product by joint develop & design with established manufacturers for introducing the quality fall arrest equipment (full body harness, safety positioning belt & accessories), safety eyewear, earplugs, safety signages, hazardous substances labels, printed barrier tapes and identification tags. Custom-made or specially designed signages are available on request.

For the current year, Proguard will continue to introduce new products like scaffold tag's holders & safety helmet with advance designs as upgrade its existing product range.

Other than the above manufacturing activities, Proguard is doing distributing & market full personal protective equipment (PPE) from head to toes.

Customer network & gain project, tender trade participating
Proguard's safety & PPE products are sold throughout Malaysia via authorised stockist & dealers including hardware outlets. The products were used and approved in major project that include the Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC); Putrajaya; MLNG3 Project in Bintulu, Sarawak; developments in Cyberjaya; Sri Manjung Power Station in Perak; and the oil and gas industry. Proguard also bid for local private sector & government tenders such as Telekom, TNB & etc.
